The Department of Biochemistry & Biophysics welcomed the beginning of fall term with a department picnic last week in Avery Park, attracting more than 100 long-timers and newcomers to BB.New department head Andy Karplus and many BB faculty and advisors greeted new and returning students.
The event was an overwhelming success thanks to second-year graduate students, BB staff Tony Reyna and Dina Stoneman as well as many others who pitched in to help with the picnic. The beautiful weather made for a delightful time to connect and welcome everyone.
